IWAGY 2025 Events Plan
All of the following event ideas are tentative, but work is being done to make them a reality
Some other ideas we’re working on (month TBD):
● Possible balsamic vinegar & wine tasting, co-coordinated by John Canevari and Tim Free
● Return of guest speaker Steve Carrizzo
● Return of guest speaker Chandler Webber
● Return of guest speaker Sunny Gandara
● Return of guest speaker Matt Glass
● Return of guest speaker Andrew Sarubbi
New potential speakers: Marc Adelman, Amandine Noca
August: We’ve been invited back to the Powelton Club. This will probably be another food-wine pairing event, the tentative date is August 28, 2025
September: We’ve been invited to use the Najorks’ home (they’re IWAGY members) as the site for a stand-up tasting, with food; the wine theme is still being considered. It will be a harkening-back to our early IWAGY days (before we bought wine glasses) with a BYOG (Glass) requirement.
Late-year (probably November): Member’s choice
Open months at this time: May, June, July, October
